Oasis Kids terms of use

1. Who we are

Oasis Kids is made and run by Fluxter Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13135508. Registered office: 92 Station Lane, Hornchurch, Essex, United Kingdom, RM12 6LX ("we"). Email [email protected]. For privacy requests, email [email protected].

2. What Oasis Kids is

Oasis Kids is a library of learning games for children aged 3 to 7, made for Muslim families, on iPhone and iPad, Android, and the web. We check every game against our written content policy before release. There are no adverts.

Oasis Kids is for families anywhere in the world. Our apps are on the App Store and Google Play in each country those stores let us offer them, and you can subscribe on our website wherever Paddle sells. Our website is open to everyone.

3. Who these terms are for

These terms are for adults aged 18 or over. You accept them in a required step when you sign up for a family account.

A family account belongs to one adult, the parent who creates it. Only a parent or legal guardian can add a child, and they declare that they are the child's parent or legal guardian when they do. Children never sign in.

4. What is free

  • The free day. A child can play every game for one day from the first time the app opens, with no sign-up, no card, and no parent step. The day is for one child. When it ends, a parent signs up to continue. A child who is in the middle of an activity finishes it.
  • The free first levels. The first level of each game is free on that game's page on our website, with no account. After a parent has signed up and consented, the same first levels are free in the app, with or without a subscription.

The free day needs no payment, and it does not turn into a subscription. It needs no contract: these terms start when you accept them at sign-up.

5. Your account

To continue after the free day, a parent signs up with an email address and a password, accepts these terms, confirms the email with a code, and gives consent as our privacy policy explains. A family can add up to 12 children. Keep your password to yourself. You can see your family's devices in the parent area, and sign any of them out.

6. The subscription

One family subscription covers every child and every game, on the web, iPhone and iPad, and Android. There is a monthly plan and a yearly plan. Our pricing page shows the full price of each. There is no free trial on the subscription itself: the free day above is separate, and it is run by the app.

Renewal. The subscription renews every month or every year until you cancel, and the full price is taken on the renewal date. If you bought it on our website, we email you before a yearly plan renews, and every six months on a monthly plan.

Where you buy it.

  • On our website. Paddle is the merchant of record for web purchases: Paddle takes the payment as the seller, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to the sale.
  • In the iPhone or iPad app. Apple takes the payment through In-App Purchase, and Apple's terms apply to the sale.
  • In the Android app. The Android app sells nothing. Families on Android subscribe on our website and sign in.

A subscription bought in one place works in all of them once the parent signs in. Purchases are only in the parent area, behind the parental gate.

Your price. Your family keeps its price while its subscription runs without a break. We give you notice of any change.

If a payment fails. For a web purchase, Paddle follows its failed payment process. If the payment is not made, the subscription ends, as section 7 describes. Apple handles a failed payment for a subscription bought through Apple.

7. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time.

  • Bought on our website: on the Subscription page in the parent area, in two steps. Every game stays open to the end of the period you paid for, and nothing is deleted.
  • Bought through Apple: open your device's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.

When a subscription ends, your children's progress is kept, and the free first levels stay open. A child is never stopped in the middle of an activity.

Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought on our website. It does not cancel one bought through Apple: that keeps billing until you cancel it with Apple, and we tell you so first.

Your 14-day right to cancel. If you buy your first subscription on our website, you can cancel within 14 days of that purchase and get a full refund, even if your family has already played. We never ask you to give up this right. Our refunds page explains how, and covers every other refund.

8. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we keep, why, and for how long, and how you see, download, change, and delete it.

9. Using Oasis Kids and our content

We give your family a personal licence to use Oasis Kids and its games for your own family's use. The licence is non-transferable: you cannot pass it to anyone else. You may not copy the games or their content, or share, sell, or publish them.

In the iPhone and iPad app, Apple's standard licence also applies. These terms cover the website and your family account.

10. Changes to Oasis Kids

We may add or change games. We give you notice before we remove a paid feature. Oasis Kids may be unavailable at times, for example while we maintain it.

11. If something goes wrong

The law gives you rights as a consumer, including that digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits anything that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit, including our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud.

If something is wrong with Oasis Kids, tell us, and we will put it right as the law requires.

12. Changing these terms, and ending an account

We give you 30 days' notice of a change to these terms, by email and in the parent area. You can cancel at any time, as section 7 says.

We may end an account for a serious breach of these terms, and we give you notice when we do.

13. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the UK, you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.

If you have a complaint, email [email protected].

14. Telling us about a problem

Email [email protected], or use Tell us in the parent area.
